A Typical Day — and an Unusual One

Notebook and studying materials

Hi! I'm Mia, and I'm sixteen years old. I'm quite outgoing, but I also enjoy spending time alone. I usually wake up at seven and have breakfast with my family. My school starts at eight thirty, so I often walk there with my best friend. After school, I do my homework and sometimes go swimming. I rarely watch TV because I prefer reading or listening to music.

Today is different. It's Saturday, but I'm not relaxing at home. I'm helping my cousin prepare for her birthday party. She's decorating the living room, and I'm making sandwiches. My brother usually plays computer games on Saturdays, but today he's carrying chairs into the garden. We're all very busy, and we're having fun!

08Read and choose True or False.
1. Mia always goes to school by car.
2. Mia sometimes goes swimming after school.
